About
About StudioBE
StudioBE (pronounced “Studio B”) is an agile consultancy for leaders of public and private organizations that run a lot of IT projects at once. It coaches delivery teams, connects the portfolio from strategy to measured value, and is the home of PPM4Agile, the portfolio operating system its principal created.
Principles
What do we believe?
Four positions that shape every engagement, whether it is team coaching or a full PPM4Agile implementation.
- Late projects and busy teams are symptoms. The cause runs through the whole pipeline: which projects get picked, whether anyone sticks to them, and the extra work that slips in. We start there.
Frameworks are tools, not outcomes
SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban all have their place, and the training behind them is sound. Where organizations struggle is implementation: seeing how the pieces connect and why each one matters. Every role needs to know how its own inputs and outputs fit the whole. We’re all in this together
One framework that everyone references, where every role knows its inputs and outputs and who sits upstream and downstream. Not silos, and not a top-down directive: a collaboration.Get good at getting better
The goal is an organization that can find and fix its own problems. Your people come away seeing how the system works and where they fit in it, so they keep improving after we leave.
Why the practice exists
When delivery looks like the problem, the cause is very often somewhere else in the life cycle.
Who it’s for
Who is StudioBE for?
Leaders of public and private organizations that run a lot of IT projects at once. Industry matters less than the number of projects; Eric's own career runs through financial services, healthcare, online retail, technology, and government. The buyer is usually a VP who owns a portfolio. The day-to-day work is with PMO directors, delivery and test managers, and OCM leads.
Organizations Eric has worked with, as an employee or through client engagements.
Leadership
Who leads the work?
Eric leads every engagement. He came up through the service industry, then mainframe data center operations and monitoring tools at AT&T, project and program management, portfolio work at LPL, more than seven years at Deloitte as an implementation manager, and a senior agile coaching role at Centene where PPM4Agile started. When a program needs coaching across many teams, he brings in coaches and trains them on the same framework, or helps you hire and train your own.
B. Eric Fullerton
Principal, StudioBE
Eric Fullerton created PPM4Agile after more than 20 years in IT operations, project and program management, consulting at Deloitte, and agile coaching. He works with leaders of public and private organizations that run a lot of IT projects at once, and he leads every engagement himself.

Why does StudioBE exist?
StudioBE exists because the problems that show up in delivery usually start somewhere else. Over more than 20 years with public and private organizations, from financial services and healthcare to online retail, technology, and government, its principal kept seeing the same pattern: talented people, plenty of training, and a portfolio that still could not connect strategy to results. Teams knew Scrum or SAFe. What was missing was one framework everyone worked from, where each role knew its inputs and outputs. Without it, decisions about intake, funding, cadence, and evidence were left implicit, so they went to pet projects or to whoever had the title to say so. Eric founded StudioBE to have more say in what he implemented, how, and with whom: the portfolio layer, while still coaching the teams underneath it. PPM4Agile is the result: one end-to-end framework that can be applied inside the governance you already have. Every engagement is led by the person who built the system, and the goal of each one is to get the client good at getting better: able to find and fix its own problems without us.
You don't need more projects. You need one framework everyone works from.
